Gretchen counsels senior executives, as well as other individuals, in personal financial planning and tax issues. She is also very much involved in corporate tax matters of both domestic and international entities. Finally, Gretchen works very closely with trust departments of major banks on trust and estate tax matters.
Gretchen joined the Los Angeles Offices of Arthur Andersen in 1976. She worked primarily in the Tax Division (for five years), and was the Senior Tax Manager in charge of both corporate and individual accounts. Prior to joining the firm of Temo A. Arjani & Co., Gretchen was the Senior Director of Taxes for Turner Entertainment Co., and its predecessor MGM/UA Entertainment Co.
Gretchen holds an M.B.A. from California State University - Northridge, and a B.A. in Accounting from Woodbury College. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the California and American Societies of Certified Public Accountants.
