Susan has over 20 years of experience advising wealthy individuals and families, business owners and senior executives on a variety of tax, estate planning and business issues.
Susan has broad experience in individual taxation, trusts, estates, gift taxation and private foundations as well as designing and implementing estate, income tax and charitable plans. She has extensive experience representing clients in front of the Internal Revenue Service and the California Franchise Tax Board. She also has significant experience in post-mortem tax planning.
Susan began her career with the tax department of Northern Trust Bank of Arizona. She then relocated to Los Angeles and has since held progressively responsible positions with Ernst and Young, Arthur Andersen and most recently was Tax Director in the Personal Financial Services practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Los Angeles.
Susan earned her B.S. in Finance from Arizona State University. She is a Certified Public Accountant certified to practice in California and Arizona and a member of the California and American Society of Certified Public Accountants.
