Matt has planned and implemented federal and state tax reduction strategies, guided clients through family wealth and estate planning, provided structuring and transactional analysis in corporate mergers and acquisitions, and defended taxpayers under examination.  His clients have included multinational corporations, large partnerships and family groups involved in a diverse set of industries, including high-technology manufacturing, services, real estate development, aerospace, defense, government contracting and hospitality.

 

Prior to joining our firm, Matt spent twelve years at Arthur Andersen.  During his tenure, he worked in Andersen’s Los Angeles and Washington , D.C. offices assisting a broad group of clients from Fortune 500 companies to small businesses and individuals with strategic tax planning and compliance.  Matt also lead the western region of a national practice specialized in developing and implementing tax minimization strategies for global manufacturing and high-technology companies.

 

Matt holds a B.S. in Accounting from Pepperdine University .  He is a Certified Public Accountant, and a member of the California and American Societies of Certified Public Accountants.
